I went to this restaurant with my husband when we were staying in Coeur d’Alene for the night. This place is amazing! It is in a tiny little house converted into a restaurant (remember the old Whitehouse Grill, its like that) The atmosphere is cozy, with a tiny little tapas bar and seating for only about 40 or so. Our server, who is the Chef’s wife, was so kind and sweet. It is refreshing to have a server who loves food as much as we do. The food was delicious! We kinda pigged out cause there were to many things that looked good. We started with panfried oysters, that were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside! Then we had the steamed clams, done in a chorizo saffron broth. My husband had the filet and it was probably the best steak we’ve ever had. It literally melted in my mouth and was a perfect medium rare. I got the lamb chops because they were done with stone ground mustard and crushed pistachios, and pistachios are one of my favorite foods. They were amazing! We finished the meal with a home-made chocolate truffle tart with a raspbery puree and a glass of port. I would recommend this place to anyone! oh and for the outstanding quality of food, the prices are more than reasonable, our entire dinner with everything I mentioned and a bottle of wine came in under a $100!
