Had dinner at Churchill’s on a Friday evening. Found the food to be very good (not excellent and certainly not outstanding). Service was among the worst I have ever encountered at an restaurant. It seemed that there was an abundance of staff, yet, they did not have direction. Tables are too close together, no privacy, felt as though I was a part of the conversation conducted by the couple at the table to the left and the group to the right (celebrating a parental birthday). There are many excellent dining experiences in Spokane, this is not one of them.

Had dinner at Churchill’s September 13, 2007 for our anniversary. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and it was very personable. It was a great dinning experience and we will definitely be going back many times. Couldn’t believe what they did when they found it was our anniversary. It is like 200 percent. They went out of their way to make our evening very memorable. We have been married 28 years and have been to many other restaurants. This was great.

My wife and I had dinner here recently. The menu, service, decor, etc are completely incongruous. The service was poor and the meal was NOT worth the price. I don’t mind spending $200 on dinner, but this meal was not worth the price. We will not be going back any time soon.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Churchill’s. The service was the best we have had in years and the food was wonderful. The decor was lovely as was the live piano music.
If you have been in Spokane all your life like I have, you will recognize some friendly faces that have worked at other good old places long gone! Go check out the lounge downstairs!

Best steaks we’ve ever had! Everything was first rate. Service was warm, professional, and friendly. Desserts, over the top!

My wife and I are completely addicted to Churchill’s. Best steaks we’ve ever tasted, superb service, totally unique atmosphere. It’s the whole package.

After moving from Seattle recently I am very pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant that rivals any of the great steakhouses in Seattle. I am sold on the dry aging process over traditionally wet aging. The service is great and we will be back.

just like Chicago, if you’ve never been to Chicago. Good attempt but not quite, can’t get past the employee pool in Spokane. The lounge is great, and the apps downstairs are good. Steaks are fair, but not for the price, garlic mashed potatoes scream 1980’s and vegetables over cooked. Not nearly good enough to command the price.
Also disturbing to see the GM have one to many and vocalizes his higher opinion of himself than the guests.
Stick to Spencers, who have been doing it right and doing it longer for a reason.

Stick to Spencer’s is right. I ate at Churchill’s with my husband last week. Food was fair. Steaks are not aged like they claim and were cooked wrong. (got some insight from a little birdie that they age for 2 days tops.) Way over priced for what you get, Especially for Spokane, and we are not afraid to spend money on a good meal, but $8 for a plain baked potato?? Service was good though. After some research, i went on the web, and if you want to see Churchill’s menu, look up “Morton’s Steakhouse” it’s a carbon copy, way to put your own spin on things. it was a valid attempt, but not executed even close. Save your money and go to Spencer’s or you will be disappointed.
